CHERRY HILL – On June 11, 2020 The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), New Jersey Chapter, appointed Laura L. Ergood, Esq., (Cherry Hill) as President effective July 2020.

“I am excited to begin this leadership role for such an important organization. The work we do on the behalf of individuals and families is especially important in securing their future needs,” said Attorney Ergood.

Attorney Ergood is an Estate and Elder Law attorney and a former prosecutor. She was named among SJ Magazine’s 2018, 2017 & 2016 “Top Attorneys” and South Jersey Magazine’s 2019, 2016 & 2011 “Awesome Attorneys.” She graduated cum laude, from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers College, Rutgers University.

The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) is a community of attorneys who specialize in handling legal issues affecting people as they age and those with special needs. The organization supports continuing legal education, advocacy and examining public policy issues in their mission to enhance the quality of life for older adults and persons with disabilities.
